A lucky 15 bet is constructed of several different selections, which are based on the combination of multiple individual bets, which are designed to diversify yourself against risk and provide an attractive upside if your selections are all correct.

Of course, it’s not always easier to win 4 matches or any acca for that matter, but the more bets that you have will lower your probability of a successful accumulator bet.

How many bets in a 15 bet?

The 15 refers to 15 individual bets, which are based on the following:

•    4 singles

•    6 doubles

•    4 trebles

•    1 fourfold

This is should be straightforward for you to understand once it’s all broken down.

But…I think we’re missing something. The use of the multiple bets means that you have to place 15 individual bets with your bookmaker.

4 singles + 6 doubles + 4 trebles + 1 fourfold = 15 bets!

How to make the most of the 15 different bets?

As a Lucky 15 bet includes 15 different combinations, this also means that you must place 15 bets and risk 15 x Your Stake when using this betting approach. It’s sometimes not for people that want to place a very small bet on a 10 multiple acca and hope for a fantastic pay day (highly unlikely). This bookmaker betting option provides a bigger betting slip with a bigger financial risk.

You should think very carefully about risking 15 x Your Stake. The use of soccer betting stats and soccer acca stats can help you to choose the most appropriate teams for your selections.

Lucky 15 is a full coverage bet

Full Coverage means that every outcome that could possibly occur is included within a Lucky 15 bet. The combination of four different bets ensures you can cover each of the possible outcomes. Bookmakers like providing betting options, so the Lucky 15 bet is versatile. You can use this betting style within any sport where you can have multiple selections (and bookies provide you with the option).

As you can imagine, sports with multiple opponents or competitors within the same event, such as horse racing use the Lucky 15 most widely.

So, how do we work out a Lucky 15 bet?

How does Lucky 15 betting apply to football/soccer?

We could talk about everything individually, but it’s probably better for us to use a table, so you can understand what needs to happen for you to profit or lose your stake. This will also help us to review the different bets, the different outcomes and the resulting returns.

Let’s say you have four matches, where you believe there could be good options for an Acca, but you want to try a Lucky 15 bet instead. You believe that the home team in each of the four matches will win, so you place bets, just like below:

Note: Let’s use simple team names, so we don’t think about the realistic scenarios, as teams change, and good runs come to an end.

•    Team A vs Team B: Bet on Team A to win

•    Team C vs Team D: Bet on Team C to win

•    Team E vs Team F: Bet on Team E to win

•    Team G vs Team H: Bet on Team G to win

The list below provides more details on the different bets that must be placed within the Lucky 15.

4 Single Bets

•    Bet 1: Team A to win

•    Bet 2: Team C to win

•    Bet 3: Team E to win

•    Bet 4: Team G to win

6 Double Bets

•    Bet 5: Team A to win and Team C to win

•    Bet 6: Team E to win and Team G to win

•    Bet 7: Team A to win and Team E to win

•    Bet 8: Team A to win and Team G to win

•    Bet 9: Team C to win and Team G to win

•    Bet 10: Team C to win and Team E to win

4 Treble Bets

•    Bet 11: Team A to win, Team C to win and Team E to win

•    Bet 12: Team A to win, Team C to win and Team G to win

•    Bet 13: Team C to win, Team E to win and Team G to win

•    Bet 14: Team A to win, Team E to win and Team G to win

1 Fourfold Bet

•    Bet 15: Team A to win, Team C to win, Team E to win and Team G to win

Now you just exchange the A, C, E and G with your teams and you can see how a lucky 15 bet would work.

Lucky 15 bets vs Acca bets

How can you decide between an Acca or a Lucky 15 bet? It’s obvious that you would need the right acca stats or multiple betting stats to choose selections, but how do you select between the Acca or the Lucky 15?

What are the benefits of lucky 15 betting?

We could talk about this for multiple paragraphs, but if we’re honest. The only true benefit of a Lucky 15, is the Full Coverage, as all possible result combinations are included within your bets.

Whereas, Acca bets are often let down by one or two losing selections, which ruing an otherwise impressive win. In a scenario where there are losing bets, the other winning bets could cancel out some of the loses and provide you with a positive return.

What are the negatives of lucky 15 betting?

Everyone wants more upside and less risk, but in reality, this is not the easiest thing to achieve. The lucky 15 product was designed by bookmakers to make something seem attractive for bettors and therefore drive more individual bets from bettors that may only bet singles.

In this way the bookmaker gains more of your money upfront, which you may not have risked under single betting circumstances. This means that they’re driving more revenue through their books and providing you with the feeling of diversifying your risk.

However, Lucky 15 bets can be an option, if you want to bet multiples, but you don’t want to lose your stake when one or two of your acca (accumulator) selections lose. This is a good approach for people with a plan to secure their long-term bankroll while exploring the validity of using multiple bets as a betting strategy.

Lucky 15 bets are a good approach for people that want to understand the nature of sports betting and how they can use real soccer betting information and data to help them make better betting decisions.

The betting industry must make money from losing players or there could be no betting industry. Any betting option, which provides higher returns will always have a greater probability against winning your selections.

So, like all recreational betting activities, you should never bet more than you can afford to lose and never rely upon betting to reach your finance goals.

Use the bookmakers and betting exchanges as a tool for you to get what you need and improve your betting tactics. However, you should never rely on bookmaker betting offers, multiple betting and accas to guarantee a financial return.

Good luck!
